Hamartia is an archery term meaning to miss the mark. It's a word used in Greek to describe sins that we commit, even if we're trying to do what God commands but fall short.
These little studies (4" x 6") are primarily screen prints adhered in diptych and triptych formats to suggest and encourage a comparison between our sins of commission, sins we do, not only the sins we're born with...and this sinful status that is sent away by God through the faith that He gives us.
