Hymns for the Funeral of Jane and John Doe

The goal with these compositions is to show the varied moments of time, captured memories and symbolic elements that can represent one’s life. Much like a traditional church hymn board the observant viewer will see 8 horizontal “hymns” that run from top to bottom, each representing a variety of images that are intended to allow the viewer to piece together the life of “Jane and John Doe”. It is my hope that in addition to this that the onlooker will take the opportunity for themselves to rescue the wisdom their own past.
